Let customers speak for us
from 27 reviewsAbsolutely love how well this is written and illustrated. It’s age appropriate without wordy language that confuses young kids. Beautifully conveys the message that we are still loved even when we feel angry, and gives parents and kids helpful ideas to help calm their bodies down.

This book delighted my 4.5 year old granddaughter and sparked many good discussions with her! She has big feelings and this book helps her to see it's ok!

I love the drawings and the adult perspective for parents to relate to. Its a nice simple story for little ones to follow.

Cute colorful books. Great simple story for little ones to understand.

Love it that there is a book in mandarin about emotional awareness and a different style of parenting than how I grew up. Please write more!!

My son loves this series. He connected with the story and pictures right away. Going to purchase this as a gift for another family member!

Excellent story. So helpful and cute.

Very cute and helpful stories. My 3 year old enjoys them a lot. Love the nods to Asian foods/culture in the illustrations. This series is filling such a needed gap in more ways than one. Thank you Mindful Peach!

It’s a perfect book for kiddos with lots of tantrums. My tiny toddler has some BIG feelings and this book reinforces the emotional regulations strategies we already use and gives us a reference to use when she needs help calming down. It’s really sweet and short so it keeps her attention. And the illustrations are just perfect. I highly recommend it!!

My daughter (4) loves both of these books and they are wonderful both as stories and as tools. The illustrations are beautiful and the message is clear. If more come out I will certainly be buying them!

Always looking for bilingual books for my kiddos. Beautiful illustrations and quick shipping time. Also received a quick response from customer care.

This book was perfect for my treat-loving preschooler. I appreciate that the father said no to the popsicle because they were going to have dessert at home, and the parents followed through with it. My child’s favorite illustration was the main character Eden walking home and being in different funny poses (aka a tantrum). This story was perfect because we have the same thing happen in our family. I appreciate that I could get the book with Traditional Chinese because we have family members from Taiwan. And I can read the pinyin to practice my Mandarin. It is great language exposure because we usually speak English at home. I love that Mindful Peach is creating bilingual books with stories, because I think a lot of what’s in the market is basic vocabulary books.

I got this book to read with my 4 year old. The story was relatable for both my child and myself. Our main language is English. I got the book with Traditional Chinese because I have family from Taiwan. I love that I can practice my Mandarin by reading the pinyin. My child loved the illustrations and would point out what the main character Eden was doing on each page. I also enjoyed the ending, where Eden does not go down the slide, because that is so real. Reading the book has led to many great conversations about what to do when feeling scared and about the different languages we speak.

We all love how the books teach little kids about emotion regulation, and showcase the asian american culture in many details. My 2-year-old son was able to make connections immediately! Looking forward to more books about emotion from the Asian American perspective.

Received this along with The Big Red Slide and my daughter loves the pictures and stories. Excited for her to read this with grandma too.
